Spicy Chorizo Queso Dip
This Spicy Chorizo Queso Dip recipe is an easy, 4-ingredient stovetop version of queso fundido, a hearty dip made with cheese and chorizo. All you need is 20 minutes, a trusty can of Campbell's® Condensed Spicy Nacho Cheese Soup, and few other staples, and you’ll have a creamy, spicy queso that’ll be a hit at all your future parties.
Ingredient
- 10 ounces uncooked fresh chorizo sausage, casings removed
- 1 large onion, diced (about 1 cup)
- 1/4 cup diced seeded jalapeño pepper or green bell pepper
- 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Spicy Nacho Cheese Soup
Direction
- Heat a 10-inch cast iron skillet over medium heat. Cook the sausage, onion and jalapeño pepper for 10 minutes or until the sausage is well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
- Increase the heat to medium-high. Stir in the soup and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir before serving. Serve the dip warm in the skillet, with tortilla chips for dipping, if desired.
