Japanese Teriyaki Sauce
Using Japanese sake and mirin wines (available in most Asian markets), this sake teriyaki sauce recipe is simple and sweet. Use as a sauce or marinade for chicken, fish, or other meat.
Ingredient
- ¼ cup dark soy sauce
- ¼ cup sake
- 2 tablespoons mirin (Japanese sweet wine)
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
Direction
- Combine soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat; stir until sugar is dissolved. Use immediately, or cool and store in the refrigerator.
